The program aims to support small to mid-sized firms in creating structured\, impactful internship opportunities that foster the development of future industry professionals. \nProgram Objectives \n\nBridge Classroom Learning and Field Application: Internships allow students to apply academic concepts in real-world settings\, gaining valuable field-specific experience in AEC disciplines.\nSupport AEC Firms: Provide small and mid-sized companies with ready-to-use templates\, guidance\, and best practices for developing or enhancing internship programs.\nFoster Career Pathways: Help students refine their career goals\, gain confidence\, and develop key professional skills through structured work experiences and mentorship.\n\nRHCA’s Role in the Internship Program \nThe RHCA Foundation offers robust support to participating firms and interns\, including: \n\nReviewing and screening candidates from a pool of RHCA Scholars and applicants.\nHosting cohort-building events to foster peer connections.\nOrganizing professional development workshops on topics such as emotional intelligence\, accountability\, and networking.\nProviding ongoing mentorship and support to students during academic transitions.\nMonitoring scholar progress and facilitating scholarship disbursements.
