DESCRIPTION:The RHCA Safety Council serves as a subject matter expert panel to advise the RHCA on construction safety issues and health matters by providing health and safety field input and perspective. Develops the RHCA Construction Safety Program\, provides guidance\, and reviews the resolution of construction safety issues. \nCommittee Functions: \n\nActs as a resource for Construction Safety instructors\nRecommends training topics and speakers\nAssists with RHCA Safety activities\nAssists with grant research and submittals\nAssists with annual events:\n\nOSHA Safety Stand-Down\nTexas-wide RHCA Day of the Construction Worker\nNational Safe + Sound Week\n\n\nFacilitates sponsors and resources for Committee activities.
