Exhibitor: Know Before You Go

The Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (FWHCC) and the Regional Hispanic Contractors Association (RHCA) are pleased to announce their strategic partnership to expand and co-host the Build Fort Worth (BUILDFW) construction and contracting expo.

The partnership and expansion of the event will provide participants with increased networking opportunities, additional informational programming, and the opportunity to meet the Hispanic and minority contractors building Fort Worth and learn about the public and private projects changing the Fort Worth skyline.  The future is now, and the RHCA and FWHCC invite you to BUILDFW 2021.

This partnership and collaboration will bring many industry leaders together and expand our member’s network and business development reach. Who should represent your company or organization:

Kick-off Reception:  Your company’s and organization’s senior leadership

  • Exhibit Table:
    • Send knowledgeable team
      • Estimators: project managers and other midlevel project and subcontractor knowledgeable and involved in engaging subcontractors
      • Procurement Team

Many companies will send their “rookies” to tradeshows. Sending new staff people is not always the wisest decision, however, as they may not have all the answers about your products or services. If you do send a new staff member, be sure to include an experienced employee as well. That way, newer staff will be able to watch and learn.

  • Exhibit Table Material
    • Make sure you have plenty of promotional literature on hand. You’ll want to have a good supply of color fliers and brochures as well as business cards that you can hand out to exhibit table visitors. Make it easy for them to find the information on your business later.
    • Please no generic business cards unless accompanied by an actual staff member’s card.
    • Have a stock of promotion “Swag” items that you can use as giveaways. Small items that people can take away and use (while being reminded about your business) are best.
    • Information on Pre-Qualification and vendor registration
  • Power Hour: Senior Leadership and Senior Level Project Managers

BuilDFW Must Do’s:

  • Actively engage exhibit table visitors
  • Make sure you have plenty of promotional literature on hand
  • Have your exhibit table manned at all times
  • Send a knowledgeable team
  • Get out from behind your exhibit table and get off your phone/computer

Exhibit Table Takedown:

  • No early Exhibitor takedown
  • Takedown starts at 1:00 pm
