The Regional Hispanic Contractors Association warmly extends an invitation to you for the Day of the Construction Worker, set to take place on Saturday, May 4th, across seven key cities in Texas. This special day is dedicated to celebrating and acknowledging the hard work and dedication of construction workers who are instrumental in building the future of our great state.
We invite you to join us in this celebration of commitment, skill, and the collective effort that contributes to the ongoing development of Texas. Let’s come together to show our support and appreciation for the hardworking men and women who are literally laying the foundation for our future.
Safety is paramount in construction, and to underscore this, we’re offering comprehensive Fall Protection Training sessions at no cost. These sessions are designed specifically for construction worker teams and will be available in the seven participating cities: Austin, Dallas, El Paso, Houston, Laredo, Sherman, and Tyler. This initiative aims to enhance safety awareness and equip our workers with the knowledge and skills necessary for a safer work environment.
To honor exceptional dedication and skill, we will award the titles of Construction Worker of the Year (both a male and female recipient) and Foreman of the Year in each of the seven cities. These awards highlight the outstanding contributions of individuals who have gone above and beyond in their roles.
Recognizing the sacrifices made by our workers, we’re hosting gatherings in Dallas, and Houston for a family and friends celebration. It’s an opportunity to spend quality time with the loved ones of our workers, showing appreciation for their year-long dedication and hard work. These events will be filled with activities everyone can enjoy, fostering community and gratitude.
